Mo powa! That's why I went with a basic, no-nonsense Magnaflow with a plain old mild steel custom midpipe from S-Squared in Rancho cordova. Spent very little and got all the power you can get out of a street legal exhaust. Oh, but it just happens to sound superb as well.

If you live ANYWHERE where you have salt, either used in the winter on the roads or near the ocean, get a stainless system else you will be buying it over and over and over again.

Sorry to say, but this poll sucks...
There are VERY few people who buy an exhaust JUST for one purpose!
For a race car, its power and weight! TOO LOUD is rarely a concern. (unless sanctioning bodies make it one)
A street car requires Sound, Power, Quality, and Price.
What is most important to me on a street car? Sound, cuz I dont like going deaf, but I also dont like it restrictive, so a performance gain is also necessary.
Building a quality street exhaust system is ALL ABOUT COMPROMISES! To balance NOISE, POWER, WEIGHT, QUALITY and COST is pretty damn hard. For example...
GReddy is "Quiet" right? So, NOISE is covered. POWER is good too since its all straight through, but there is more restriction that some other exhausts out there. WEIGHT? Well its heavy! Big rear muffler + 2 resonators + coated mild steel piping. So no good there. QUALITY? Coated Mild Steel - Not stainless, but wont rust, so its ok. COST? Not the cheapest, but not too bad. (good compromise there by using coated mild steel to save money)
APEXi World Sport. NOISE? Very Quiet. POWER? Not too bad, but not too great. Muffler design is a chambered design, which is more restrictive than a full straight through one. WEIGHT? Not as heavy as GReddy. Uses coated mild steel, Chambered/ Packed muffler in rear and 1 packed muffler for resonator. Not light, but not heavy. QUALITY? Very good, but also uses coated mild steel piping to save on cost. COST? VERY GOOD! For $399 Shipped you can have one!
Last one...
JIC Titanium. NOISE? Not too loud, not quiet. POWER? Very good. WEIGHT? VERY LIGHT!!! 7 lbs for the full system! QUALITY? PERFECT!! COST? $1200 and up, Not Shipped.
You see what I mean? I would get JIC, but where would I get $1200?

I have to say that performance increase was the single biggest deciding factor for me. I just purchased/installed a Vishnu turbo back, single dump system. Love it btw
As with modifications you perform, forsight is the most important thing you can exercise. I decided before I did a single mod that I was going to set up for a Cobb stage 2 reflash. I called them and asked for a recommended turboback, and they recommended Vishnu.
If it was for appearance, weight, or sound, I hardly think it would be justified to spend $1250 on an exhaust. I paid for the engineering that went into its design, and I am happy to say that
