Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

Well, I can't comment specifically on built motors. However, I can say with a high level of certainty that the USDM EJ20 with it's open block design will not handle an FP Green (probably with at least 25 psi) and a 75-100 shot of NOS. From what I've heard though, a 2.2 closed deck should be able to handle that setup nicely. Good luck man. By the way, I'm sure you know this but the 5MT has no chance with that setup. You'll have to go with the STi 6MT.

yea .. the 2.0 open deck is definately not going to handle the turbo too well, the lag will be great and under pressure with that nos ... you should know what'll happen, 2.2 l semi-close or close deck should be good .. or the usdm sti 2.5 L is good ... lots of sti's are using the fp green turbo setup.

i would recommend a vf34 with 560cc injectors, fuel pump, a FMIC (i prefer blitz or turboxs) buh with this setup .. you have to consider investing in a 6spd sti tranny sooner or later, all depends on how much u abuse the rex.

definately.. usdm wrx's open decks can only take about 350 whp at most... anything with mor epower would be just too much and on the 2.2 L, you can either get a jdm STi 2.0L with the avcs and get a stroker kit, or you can work with tuners to get one build for you. i would recommend the jdm sti cause it would be way tooo much money for a build motor which dont even produce as much results as the jdm.. u gotta love the 8.5k redline of the jdm sti engines. umm if you want to check out the results of a build 2.2 L here's the link to mike from gruppe-s whose got a 2.2 L, his motor performs, buh he spend a **** load of money on that beast. (worth every penny i'd say) here's the link:

Fuel rail design - the aftermarket solutions from Perrin and others (which are a parallel setup) solve that problem.

I will change the rods and pistons anyway. Thanks!!

PS- see I am glad I started to ask- I had no clue the WRX motor was open deck!! That would not last long at all .

I'm almost positive Axis power raceing sells them http://www.axispowerracing.net/ but their site is under construction right now so you will need to call or email them with your questions.
