Subaru's gas...
While buying my WRX, I was informed that the tech's took it around back to "detail" it. Fine, I thought, until I realized that they filled the tank full with *87* octane! The dealer said it was complementary. Thanks guys.
I don't think the car saw over 3,000 rpm for the first 300 miles!!!

If that was an actual tech and not some kid gofer that put 87 octane in your tank, I'd maybe look for another dealership for service work on your car.

Dealer service
Wingless W,
My car has never been back to the dealer for anything! They gave me a free complementary oil change. That went into the garbage. I do all of my work in house here. Uppipe, tire rotation, suspension, etc. All done here. If I ever have to go to the dealer for something I can't fix, I'll hawk them in the garage bay.
On a side note, when I once owned a dodge dakota
I had to have the key ring illuminator replaced after two weeks from brand new. The mechanic used VICE GRIPS to remove the turn signal and tilt levers!!! I was watching!! All he needed was a 6mm open ended wrench. I didn't think he would actually use the grips, but when he clamped them on, the parts were already ruined. I felt my IQ drop from just being in his presence. (btw, I didn't get new stalks, as they didn't have anymore in stock, I had to wait.)
I hate the dealer. It's hard to find anyone that will treat your stuff with respect. This goes for anything that you bring somewhere to service.
My friends joke with me, because I am always so careful when working on something car/bike/mower/etc. They say that I couldn't make any money if i owned a shop, because I work "too slow".
