Using a BOV with an automatic WRX

Q1: Are there any reprocusions in using a BoV with an auto WRX????
Q2: I have Stealth FX BoV in 04 (auto) WRX and at low RPMs, in any gear I get what sounds to me like the turbo fan spooling down faster then it should. It could almost sound like a shot gun going off in the far distace as you hear the low crackle echo through the sky. Or sounding like the wooosshh but more low end and muffled, like it's choaking.
Iv'e set the BoV to 100% sping loosened and it still makes the muffled noise at low RPMs. I Adjust the BoV to 100% tightned and it still does the same muffled noise at low RPMs (but the valve is tougher it move). I've also tryed diffrent settings but it has no effect. I can repeate the sound if I'm in 3rd and coasting. I get on the gas, but not enough to have it downshift, push a little boost and take my foot off the peddle fast (and befor 3Krpm) I'll get the muffled noise.
Q3
oes anyone know about Stealth FX and having adjustment problems???
Q4:Is it possable the problem could be something other then the BoV???
Q5: I have a turbo XS T-back and Factory air box W/ K&N filter with the snorkle taken out of the fender. I cut a hole in the under plastic so the fan can suck air easyer into the fender and also sealing off big gaps leading to the engine compartment so it pulls 100% outside air. Might the Air set-up be effecting the turbo????
Q6: Other then lower gas miles, louder noise and loss of power are there any other problems an exaust leak would cause that would be related to the problem????

hmmmm I don't think your bov would really cause the problems your explaining. As to the exhaust leak, will cause many little problems, hesitation in acceleration, loss of power, and weird noises.
When i had my HKS Hipower cat back installed i had crackle..... the fact is that the space is to small for the 3in piping plus the res chamber so you have to play with is to make sure its not banging or leaking. Once i made the adjustments now all i hear is that nice sweet rumble...
