This may sound dumb but i just want some clarification. So basically all you have to do to swap the up=pipe is unbolt the dp, take out the egt sensor, unbolt the passenger side motor mount and jack/push up the engine and you can get everthing out? Did i leave anything out?

1 unbolt heatshield
2 unbolt dp
3 unbolt up
4 take out egt probe
5 take off pass. side ex.manifold
6 unbolt pass side mount
7 push up motor and wiggle that sucker out

You'll have more room if you take off the intercooler. The intercooler is really to take on and off.

Jack up the engine, it's easy and you won't run the risk of busting your oil line. Other misc. helpful hints:
-remove the intercooler, and one end of the pitch stop to lift the engine
-get a crow's foot O2 sensor wrench, not the straight socket type
-use PB Blaster. Not WD-40, not any other knock-off brand. The stuff is magic.
-use all new gaskets, and double up the bottom uppipe gasket if your uppipe doesn't have a flex
-remember to tighten down the blowoff valve to avoid banshee screams
