upgrading to 18g turbo(on stock inlet tube??)

Thinking of ugrading to a 18g will i need a larger inlet tube. on a 02 wrx. What else should i expect to come across??

Hey wasup bro, I'm actually in the same boat as well. I would suggest Deadbolt Enterprises and the ZIlla TD05H turbo. Includes everything you need for the turbo.

well i just got a brand new fp td05h-20g i'm tuning the car w/ed next week so i'll let you guys know how this turbo is. the 18g is good too I just wanted to try the 20g since most wrx owners have the 18g.

I have a 20G as well...been running it for over 1.5yrs...

to the OP, stock diameter inlet tube but I highly recommend upgrading to a Perrin or Samco inlet tube. The stock one is known to crack.

boo yeah man my car right now is running lean because my stock inlet tube is cracked. So i'm not driving the car right now until I get a new perrin inlet tube which will be on thursaday. Then I will be able to finally go and get my car tuned.

I have the 18g and I also have the stock Inlet Tube. After replacement of your cracked unit all should be good though
