turboxs utec and check engine light

turboxs utec and check engine light
I just put the utec in and love it, but when i start my car the check engine light flashes three times and then goes away. Car runs fine. Was wondering if that was normal. Please let me know. Thanks

1/500yellowwrx - It is flashing to show you which map you are running, your switch ont he UTEC should correlate to the amount of flashes.

Mike, thanks for the reply. When i first installed the utec i do not remember it flashing. The car runs great. Do you think if i hit the switch by accident that it would still run the same sence it only comes with the stage 1 map.

Your stage 1 map is intstalled in the 3rd 'slot' in the UTEC...hence 3 flashes....

Thanks again for all the help. I will stop worrying about it. Mike I guess I owe you some business, do you sell Helix up/down pipe combo, and the Hks high power cat back. Let me know I will be making a purchase for this stuff next month.
