Hey All,
I couldn't be happier with my WRX but as most of us there is still more to be desired. So my question is to anyone who is running or has experience with the Turbo XS Stage 4 kit. My main concern is street drivablity, this is still going to be my daily driver. Also I am concerned with reliability even though i know that Turbo XS puts a lot of R&D into their products. I have a tuner that is nearby that is certified by Turbo XS and has an in-house AWD dyno so I'm sure they can provide any help I need. So anyways if anyone has any info they would like to share with me about this please do. Currently I have ran a 14.394 at the track with a cat-back exhuast and BOV. I can't remember the speed but I think it was 94-95. I'm looking to run in the 11's.
Thanks,
02wrbluewrx

If your friend or whoever is a TurboXS certified mechanic and has an in house dyno, why don't you ask him for his advice?
I think this is a bogus question, however the streetability of the stage 4 is fine for your daily driving. It will be just alot faster than the norm. You can run different maps for different occasions. Like a conservitive map for driving to work against a more aggressive track map.

Sorry slayter I havent had time to call the shop and talk to them and I sit in front of a computer a lot so I figured I would ask. Are you this nice to everyone who asks for advice
I'm running a modified STG4, here's what I have:
UTEC (rev2)
STI Injectors
VF-30 turbo
Helix Flex Up-pipe
Bosal Downpipe (It has a bellmouth and dual chamber unlike the TXS DP)
Bosal Catback (Dual-tip with really deep sound)
AEM CAI
About 16.5 pnds boost ( about 1.3 mps on the stock BG)
It is completely drivable, much like it was when stock. The only difference is that you can smoke all 4 tires just by launching at 4500 rpm and the top-end is well over 140 (you can ping the speedo). 1st and 4th gear seem to be the strongest...the needle climbs at the blink of an eye. I'm going to get the TXS TMIC (If I find one for sale) so that I can run a bit more boost. Definatley a good choice but take a look at the HKS turbo kit first.

If you like even more boost out of the stock turbo, Forced Performance will rebuild, upgade turbine wheel, clip the exhaust wheel, balance and blueprint it for $600. It has almost the exact specs of the VF30. Take a look at their website. I'm doing this to tide me over for a while.
