question- FMIC = + lag, but more cooling
TMIC = slightly less cooling depending on size but -lag?

Good answer. There is however, choice based on other people's recommendations, like mine for example.

I prefer FMICs because:

1. I have not noticed any lag increase
2. I have noticed cooler intake temps
3. It allows you to step up to other than VF-whatever turbo upgrades in seach for real power.
4. It makes it easier to work on the car
5. Opens up a lot of room in the engine bay for other toys
6. Makes those Honduh! boys think twice

I'm planning on going with TurboXS TMIC for the stealth factor. No huge logos emblazoned across the fins and it "could" pass for stock in the unknowing eyes of a chp officer.

awesome, FMIC for me !

anyone have any experience with the Spearco TMIC? i've heard thats the best core for a tmic application,

also, does running an fmic run your engine hotter in terms of taking air away from the radiator? or does the air still flow easily through the fmic and enter the radiator?
