Well, I'll put it this way. The Hush is designed specifically for a purpose. If you modify it, you will change *something*. The only people who can really answer your question is Borla. If you want stock tips you should run the stock exhaust. Honestly, I think you're being really weird. Its pretty silly to hack up such a nice exhaust, one of the better ones on the market.

me too ^^^ the hush looks very stock, i think the only people who would know its a aftermarket exhaust is if they own a suby or the same exhaust.

The hush looks more stock than my 05 melon cannon does. I'm torn between getting a stromung axle back or getting the hush, I already have a 3" halfback(similar to txs stealback with catted DP then 3" to the axle) which tapers at the axle flange to fit the stock can, so if I got the hush I'd have to have the flange fixed, but I'm dying to get rid of that thing.

Agreed... it's stock, but nicer. Don't know why anybody would want to change them.

hezlok- as long as the diameter of the tips you are welding on matches the outlet size of the muffler, you should not suffer any decrease in performance. However, make sure that whoever does this for you does not damage the muffler internals w/ the welder.

I don't know nothing about nothing. But the idea that comes to mind is to use the stock axleback. But again. I dunno if that'd work, I'm sure the tubing is a different size, but nothing a good muffler shop couldn't handle.

If you have the MadDad halfback or any halfback that is made to fit the stock axle back the Stromung will bolt right up. I love my full 3" Stromung axle back, I think it is the best sounding exhaust I've heard on a WRX but thats just my opinion. I had a Blitz Nur-Spec R cat back bolted to my TXS DP/catpipe and I swapped the Blitz axleback with the Stromung and now I am much happier with the sound and the look.
