man I must be high, Robb on here has the XR-1 and his has a little can, unlike this one...lol

 

I doubt it is so "hush" anymore. The anti-hush Borla.

Looks good anyways.

 

I have the XR-1 and it is exactly like that picture with the big can. I promise you, my XR-1 is anything but Hush.

Robb had an XR-1 on his WRX from a while back, and it looked like this!



Also if you search for Borla XR-1, you see the above muffler...

oh well, so I will have to add a resonator and a baffle!

or maybe I'll just convert a damn hush to single tip....hmmm

 

If you want quiet, you WILL need a resonator. If you'd like to hear my car this weekend, or on Fri, we can meet up somewhere if you'd like.

I propose a new name for this exhaust. Borla "Blarg"!

 

It looks just like the Borla on my RS except larger piping and no resonator like mine too. It gets loud on my car man it'll be insane on an STI.
