I have the XR-1 and it is exactly like that picture with the big can. I promise you, my XR-1 is anything but Hush.

man this no sense makes!

Robb had an XR-1 on his WRX from a while back, and it looked like this!



Also if you search for Borla XR-1, you see the above muffler...

oh well, so I will have to add a resonator and a baffle!

or maybe I'll just convert a damn hush to single tip....hmmm

If you want quiet, you WILL need a resonator. If you'd like to hear my car this weekend, or on Fri, we can meet up somewhere if you'd like.

It looks just like the Borla on my RS except larger piping and no resonator like mine too. It gets loud on my car man it'll be insane on an STI.

I know man but I have an STi and I want a single tip!!!

I think I'm just gonna modify a damn hush when it comes time for full 3" TBE...

yeah well I'm gonna get one eventually and its getting a "speshal resernator" to make it more hush and less blarg...

Looks like the XR-1 changed shape over the years...
