Timing Belt Change

Ok guys and girls...help me out. It is time for me to change my timing belt. Any suggestions for what timing belt to buy. I was between the Power Enterprises or Greddy one. Anyone who has any insite or personal opinions please feel free to share them. And yes I will be doing it myself. Thanks all!

We have used both and both seem to work well, I would prehaps base it on which you can get the better deal on.

Mike - I was told a while back to use the OEM Timing Belt because the Aftermarket ones actually didn't have the Timing Mark or something like that. Is there any truth to that?

Good question, I am not the mechanic at the shop but I have built my own motors and personally never used the marks so don't recall on the being there or not on the aftermarket one's. I can check one in the morning.

To be honest if you line up the marks on the cam and crank pullies per the shop manual there is no need for markings on the belts.

very good point. I am interested to find out the answer as well. Also, is there even a reason to upgrade the timing belt? I mean yes, it should be more durable, but then again does it really extend the life of the belt anymore to buy an aftermarket one?
