thinking of getting a downpipe/uppipe...need suggestions

I want to get a downpipe for my car...I have the Apexi Catback exhaust..I have heard mixed opinions about the HKS downpipe..Its a cheap downpipe, but is it a bad downpipe??
I plan on running the stock turbo...maybe increasing boost to about 15 psi...As for the up-pipe i was thinking of getting the gruppe-s up pipe...Is anyone here running the HKS downpipe or the Gruppe-s up-pipe?? Also..should i wait till my warranty expires to do these mods?

Gruppe-S uppipe is great. A lot of ppl that use them always have good things to say.

as for downpipe, You want to the dp that is bellmouth designed. IIRC, gruppe-S offers their own and Cusco dp.

what is the advantage with a bellmouth design...sorry im new to exhaust components..

does the HKS not have a bellmouth design?

I'm thinking by Bell Mouth he means a Larger Oval opening. The Cusco version has seperate chambers for the wastegate gasses and regular exhaust gas

u should just go with the gruppe-s dp and uppipe combo.

gruppe-s does not make a downpipe, they only make an Up-pipe.

The downpipe they have with the combo is the helix dp.

Look at Rallyperformance.com. I think you'll find what you need there. I have the 1+ plus kit. I have not installed the up/ down pipe yet. The CEL is still on back order. The muffler has a great sound and looks good. Just give the rubber mounts a shot of chain lube first before removing the old muffler.
