Taking out 1-3 manifold for EGT install, any hints?

Taking out 1-3 manifold for EGT install, any hints?

This Saturday I'm FINALLY going install the EGT probe for my gauge. (I've had the gauge inself install for like 4 months... I feel so rice

).

What tips and tricks have you learned from removing the passenger-side manifold and installing an EGT probe?

I'm planning on drilling and tapping the button where the 1 and 3 pipes meet. I'm particularly interested in comments about experiences with removing and replacing bolts, and proper sealing of the hole and probe.

pre saturate the bolts for the hell of it. Use a torque wrench if you have one, teflone tape for prob & dont forget to cut the hole in heat shield for access before putting it back together. good luck
