Who makes the best headers under $500? I don't have the $$$ to go for HKS or Cusco. I keep hearing that Borla breaks so that's out. Who is left? Someone told me Helix headers were cheap but I've never heard of them making headers.

 

Helix doesn't make headers, they were Gruppe-s Headers but are no longer available. We run the Borla headers on the shop car and never had a cracking or braking issue. I would go with a borla or a GT-spec, but the install on the GT-Spec is a bit more involved since the clearence tolerance is a bit tight.

I have been running XXTuning unequal length headers for a couple of months now. They make great torque down low (260 on 04 WRX with stock turbo). I think they cost 450. Check them out at XXTuning.com
