Stromung Midpipe

I just installed a stromung midpipe to my 2003 wrx w/prodrive axleback. I have a leak at the donut gasket at the 3rd cat. Is it normal for that gasket to leak a bit, or could i have a defective midpipe. I could not find a new donut gasket anywhere. The original seems to be fine, only 7500 miles. Does any one have any suggestions?

Yes I reused the spring bolts, tightened them till the threads stopped. joint seems to be straight. Is it normal for a small amount of air to leak thru? I'm not real happy w/leak, reworked the fit 3-4 times.

You may need a spacer behind the donut gasket to push it out a little to make better contact with the seat on the midpipe. I had to do this, and the answer was a 1/8" piece of exhaust pipe of the size to just fit behind the donut.
