I have a turboback and catless uppipe, is the vishnu better than cobb performance wise? I live in California and dont want to send it to Utah but I will if they put out better numbers/drivability

shiv:

do you guys have a website that show dyno numbers for the different stages? I want the "best bang" for the buck of course, and COBB seems incredibly cheap for the numbers they claim. I'm not going to upgrade the turbo, I just want as much power from the stock turbo/motor along with my turboback and uppipe. also, If I ever send my turbo to get ported and polished do you guys offer a map that would be compatible with that setup and upgradable from the original map?

thanks, sorry for whoring this post

Hi there,

I can't speak for other vendors, but our Stage 1 kit (up-pipe, turbo-back and pulley) yields about as much power as we've ever seen on the stock turbo. Our custom tuned Stage 1 cars routinely put down 210-220whp on our DD dyno. Or about 240-250whp on an AWD Dynojet. Take your pick. Our baseline maps are a bit conservative to the order of ~10whp. But this can be squeezed out through the user-tuning feature of Delta Dash if the user so wishes. As for porting and polishing the factory turbo, it shouldn't make much of a difference if done well. If done improperly (which is more common from what I've seen), performance will be compromised for good. It is my opinion that you leave the factory turbo untouched
