Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

Stage 2 + Cobb SF

I just got a 2004 WRX premium sedan.

Current status.

Ebay catback
Mishimoto radiator
Samco hoses
Ebay strut tower bar.
K&N drop in
The rest is bone stock.

Current plans,

Perrin Uppipe
Invidia downpipe w/ dwg
Cobb SF intake
Cobb APv2
(Possibly better catback)

Leaning towards EQ tuning for my protune.

Any advice towards my plans and reviews on any parts im intrested in are appriciated.

Thanks!

NO need for the intake. Your stock turbo and anything up to a 18-20G range will breath fine on the stock box.

Get an STi intercooler from someone here before the tune with the money that you allotted for the intake instead.

get a turboback exhaust, uppipe, and AP. short ram will see marginal gains. it's up to you. the stock BOV(i know that's not what it is technically called) will be more audible.
future STI intercooler, fuel pump and injectors, in that order-

Congrats on the car!! EJ205 ftw. Contrary to popular belief, you can make a ton of power on that block.

Future list of parts looks solid. Stay away from ebay parts- I'll skip the wrist slap, assuming the previous owner bought them. The intake will add cool whooshy turbo noises, but thats about it until you are making more power.

Whats your short term goal for the car and whats your budget? Your "stage 2" set-up up there could be had for as little as $400 or as much as $2K, while producing the exact same results
