16.5 psi is 1.1379 bar. Go to
http://www.worldwidemetric.com/metcal.htm for a conversion calculator.

ok, so your reading is in MPa (megapascals) right? do you want MPa converted to psi or bar?....or both?

16.5 psi is .114 MPa and 1.14 bars
17.0 psi is .117 MPa and 1.17 bars
17.5 psi is .121 MPa and 1.21 bars

Looks to me that you might be right, the difference between Mpa and Bar is a decimal place.

MPa to psi Conversion tool

I work in the Steel industry and am often running into this conversion problem , My go to tool is Convert: psi to MPa | Mpa to psi | ksi to MPa | MPa to ksi
