silly question re: intercooler

Exclamation silly question re: intercooler
ok, time to ask a stupid question:

if junk gets into the hood scoop does it just pass thru out the bottom of the intercooler?

examples: water from car washes, amazing amounts of dead bugs thanks to the SoCal toll roads and the inteligent bee keepers that have the hives 5 feet from 80+ mph cars


just curious.

Car Info: 1993/2000/2001 GF4 mostly red
Liquid drips through, bugs could get stuck. You could use compressed air or a water hose to flush them back out through the top.
