I have 87,000 miles (140013 kms) on my 02 WRX and the turbo is still running strong ***knocks on wood***

But if you have the money then why not? Bigger is better you know

Mileage isn't the problem with the turbo. Don't replace it til it's broken.

Sure go ahead and replace it. then get a FMIC and some Em and then a 6 speed. hehe Only replace it if you want more power like stated above
