one that has the IQ of a mayo jar.

Beside the point in any case. All these addiatives could only dilute the true potential of the gasoline, specially if its just cleaning products. Looks like its really just a mask for crappy gasoline.

I agree with RoadSpike. Anything in the gas that doesn't combust (such as detergents, etc.) is a waste of space that could be taken up by more gas. Very few cleaning agents, if any, could survive the heat of the combustion chamber and ignition spark long enough to actually work (can you imagine how hot the fuel injectors get?)

Yes...

Imagine my suprise this morning when I go by the Shell station and see the big "Try the new V-Power Gas" balloon on top of the building...

Then again, Kansas City does seem to be a step or two behind the times on a regular basis.

What's the octane rating of v-power out on the islands? We only get it in the crappy 91 in Cali.

i always like shell, mobile does good for me too, power wise shell is better for me i dunno why tho, plus i get better gas mileage out of it. My poli sci professor explained to us what a conspiracy gasoline compaines are, and that most companies do not process there crude oil as well *** shell does. how much this is ture i dont know, but i use shell.
All gasoline is the same. One company refining gasoline more than another company would be a waste of money. Shell puts it's gas in the pipeline, and takes out from the other side 10 minutes later. It takes the gasoline several days to get to the other side. It's not Shell's gas that Shell takes out. It's someone elses. The only difference between different companies' product at the pump is the additives they put in after they get the gas out of the pipe. So, if you notice any difference whatsoever, it's because of additives, NOT the quality of the gasoline. I doubt anyones additives improve performance enough to justify the additional costs, but I may be wrong. It's all marketing.
