scoobysport 2.5" or 3"

Just a simple question on the difference.

I was reading through the rallyperformance website and they said that they can make a 3" if i need it.

i am planning to upgrade to a vf34 in the future and was wondering if it was smart to go for the 3" exhaust. but then again im debating between the stock turbo and the vf34.

also, is the scoobysport even legal?

thanks.

3" tubing is better for any turbo upgrade over stock.

In CA, only catback exhaust systems are emissions legal. Technically, all three factory catalytic converters must remain in place except for off-road use, only. Replacement high-flow cats are sold with a variety of exhaust systems but can only legally be used if your car meets certain criteria (OEM cat failed, odometer reading at time of failure, etc.).

You can use any exhaust system you choose but be prepared to remove it all and replace it with factory stuff when smog check time finally rolls around.
