In about two weeks i can afford a catback then downpipe(im thinking catless but woulndt that be much louder , cheaper tho) = turbo then a utec? X) this kid with a rex dynoed at 300 to the wheels the other day...and 350 with race gas ( the turbo xs tuners are bout 10 min walk from my house!! =P and thing is when he came in with all his bolt on's he dynoed at 170'ish ...all i can say is wow (had to share that)
he spun tires thru third gear !!

I want, need, gotta have a N1 grapefruit launcher -_- exhuast because of the looks ( love that angled look ...sigh) plus on wrx's they dont sound like fart cans =D can u say Harley

however how effective will the silencers be that come with catbacks? such as helix, espelir, apexi they all come with silceners. Today I asked some friends and they said it hardly makes a difference even if u put the silencer on...(they why does it come with it in the first place?! ) because for everyday driving i want it to be fairly quiet...but then roar to life when u take the silencer off

yes the big power rex's have been known to spin there tires on the dyno. some even through 4th.

 

Silencers will most definitely change the sound, even at 350whp. It may not make it as quiet as stock, but it will definitely have less rumble then without.

You may find, though, that the exhaust note sounds like crap with the silencer but it is more quiet then without.
