Hey Guys,
Looking at the WRX as the next car - i can get into that in the general forum. But I have a question about Stage packages. The first company I checked out was Vishnu and think that the Stage Zero would be a great way to upgrade the car. From the posts I've read the uppipe is pretty good.
Are the numbers on the site good numbers in regards to performance? Is it safe to say that you'll see similar numbers?
What other companies offer equivalent stage packages? I've seen a couple with intake/exhaust/uppipe stuff but nothing with an ECU - granted I'm not sure where to look when it comes to Impreza WRX parts. =\
What catback exhaust systems will offer increased performance with a not so loud sound? I'm a cali resident so I prefer to leave the last two cats on(would seem to be smart to do so). Also will a cat back offer a HP/TQ increase if you aren't removing the two cats/how much?
Thanks for answering!
Drew

Drew, the most restrictive part on the stock WRX exhaust system is the muffler so getting a catback exhaust will give you a pretty good HP/TQ increase.

Danke,
Looks like the GReddy is closest to stock db and still makes some good power. It also looks like I sacrifice a couple ponies if I want a more quiet exhaust. I had an H-pipe going to two Flowmaster 60-series on my Z32TT and that was louder than sin... i like a quiet cabin these days. =)
I might have to look into the hi-flow cat, but still reasoning with keeping the two after the turbo there... don't have the car just yet. Just planning.
I like the vishnu b/c of the up-pipe, ecu, and pulley.... seems logical. The other kit looks clean as well, but try Stage Zero with that exhaust... hmmmmmmmm
