quick dumb help needed

quick dumb help needed
okay... i installed a bov and it wasn't screwed in right and was a lil loose, so while driving around my car being an automatic, wouldn't shift past 3rd, now my check engine light is on... i tightened the screws and my car is running fine now but the check engine light is still on.

please help!!!!!

just remove the negative battery terminal for about 10 minutes. then put it back on. your radio presets will reset.
