Questions before purchase of WRX
I'm just wondering if there are any issues I should be concerned with as far as warranty issues or frequent repairs. I had a '00 GTS Celica and traded it for a Land Rover(don't ask, biiiig mistake) and I am used to the reliability of Toyotas, they just don't offer anything that peaks my interest at this time. BTW, my other considerations are a Sentra SE-R SpecV and a Mazdaspeed Protege. Thanks.

Nah should have no problems with it I have had mine for bout 8 mths and 10,000 miles with no probs. About the sentra SE-R tho I was in charleston the other night and one tried to pick on me boy did he make a big mistake made him look awful with that ever so popular 7 grand take off hehe. Anyway the sentra would be my pick if for some reason you could not get the wrx they are also very good cars, course, anything import will last quite awhile if taken care of.

I've had my WRX for a year and a 1/2 and it has 16,250 miles. I've beat the tar out of it (SCCA Solo II, Track Days and Drag Racing) and it's done fine. The only thing I wish I could make better or worry about on my WRX would be the trany. It's not even that bad. So go for it.
Hope that helps.

The only problem i had out of the GTS was the 2nd gear synchro. I had 57,000 on it when I traded, I put 46,000 miles on it in a year and they were rough miles. The POS Land Rover I have now is the biggest piece of junk I've ever seen!!

i would go with the WRX, no to be biased towards a car i own, i just think that AWD would be better then FWD, and plus the WRX has more power from the factory then both of the other cars u are choosing.
I couldnt tell you any long term things about the WRX cuz i have i only had it for 4K miles...
