Angry Problems

Okay so I just installed my Perrin uppipe and Bosal downpipe and I have a Scooby Sport midpipe and catback. My problem is that lastnight was doing about 120 with a G35 coupe and my car felt like it didnt want to go any faster. It felt like the turbo was boosting on and off. I'm pretty sure I don't have an exhaust leak but I might be wrong. Also it stalls a lot at lights but thats cuz its running rich right?......Maybe I'm wrong please lemme know what you think..
Thanks,
Andrew

Im no pro but I wouldnt think those mods would make you run rich because I dont see anything that would add fuel to the mix. Maybee it would be a good idea to reset your ecu. I dont know that it would work but its worth a try since you added all of those exhaust mods.

Yes, reset your ECU. Just unhook the neg batt cable then press the brake pedal a few times until all the memory is erased. Plug it back together and your good to go. I also think you're having boost spikes when you said the turbo spools on and off. Either you have the 3/16 restrictor mod done, or you have a CAI or Short ram filter, these things will do that to your car. Trust me, I've done all of those and at the end, I'm sticking to the stock restrictor hose and the hacked stock air box. No more boost spikes for me. BTW, your next mod should be the AccessECU stage 2, just got mine last week. I got the same mods you have, and the car runs like a champ. Goodbye stock EVOs and G35s.   Actually got to run with my friends stock STI too and we were about the same.

It's exactly what the name says, spiking of boost. You'll know when you're getting boost spikes when you hit the max boost and the turbo isn't able to hold it, so it spikes up and down, making your car feel like your pressing and depressing the gas pedal when you're not.

Did you try reseting the ecu? If not it only takes a minute. Always start with the most simple solution, see if that works then worry about exhaust leaks.

Broken vacume lines will almost definately cause you problems so if you didnt replace them do so then reset ecu.
