problem: uppipe installed, touching motor??
hi guys,
I just installed a DCSports uppipe on my 04 wrx wagon. Obviously this thing can only mount one way, being constrained by the turbo and manifold location. However, the weave over the flex portion is touching my motor. I didn't force it in or anything, but here it is.
I'm concerned about any potential abnormal heating patterns, esp since the block is aluminum, right?
Or abrasive wear on either the block or the weave itself?
HELP! I'm going on a 6-hour road trip next week and need to know if you think I need an emergency swap out of this piece.
