Borla Exhaust

Is the Borla XR-1 as quiet as the Borla dual tip model? I like the fact that it is quiet and doesn't attract a lot of attention, I just want to see if one is louder than the other or are they basically the same? This would be comnined with a catless uppipe and downpipe.

Thanks

The Borla XR-1 is a lot louder than the Borla Hush since it has no resonator and the muffler is straight through. The Borla Hush is very popular with our customers and even our tuner is running one on his car. Let me know if you need one.

Thanks,
Preston

i think thats the cat back im going to do but i really need to find out how it will sound with catless up/dp. and then what difference would be made if the borla manifold was on top of all of that or if its not even worth getting the manifold. thankx for the input on the hush though. i think you just sold me on it.

I have the Borla Hush back and I love the design and the sound of it. It's not too loud but it still has the nice rumble to it.

does anyone know the difference in volume between Borlas dual tip "Hush" exhaust and the single tip they offer? do they sound the same or is the single tip not as hushy? I like that fact that the single tip is cheaper

the single tip is cheaper because there is no resonator. it's just straight pipe and muffler.
