problem with oil and coolant

Sorry If this sounds complicated but I need some advice. I have a 2004 Subaru wrx 2.0 turbo. So every once in a while, I will notice the smell of some coolant burning on the first drive of the morning. it normally seems to be coming from around the turbo. I don't really notice much of a drop in coolant level or any obvious leaks. It doesn't happen every day.

The more concerning thing Ive recently noticed is I seem to be burning more oil than usual. Ive looked over the engine and everything seems dry except for this one spot which looks like some type of manifold. it seems to have some wet oil spots. I will attach the pics.

could anyone tell me part of the engine this is?

Thanks in advance
