Today i was driving around and i noticed that my BOV was going off like crazy, I have the stock BOV, on vishnu stage sub -zero. The turbo spool sounds even louder, what is the problem? usually you cant really hear the spool nor the BOV venting off, but today even my gf notices it. Its like as if i had a after market BOV in my car. And it seems like the turbo is spooling slower. I tried to stomp the gas pedal and my car wouldnt spool as fast as it usally does. The sound is cool but not at the cost of my performance. Anyone know? please help!

 

have you had a chance to check for leaks? look on the bov or turbo inlet pipe. lol

 

i wish i had a boost gauge, well everything looks fine to me. I poped the hood everything is where tehy're suppose to be. and no leaking noises after i shut off the car..

 

Sounds like a leak in your ic hose somewhere.... did you replace your stock hose with samco hoses or the like?

 

hello, truWRXtacy you must perform leak test at idle, engine must be on. pour a mild soap/water mix on the joints/hoses of the intercooler, bov and turbo inlet pipe. then look for bubbles. lol
