Power gain from up-pipe install

I drive an '05 WRX wagon. I currently have:

TurboXS turboback
Prodrive axleback
TurboXS UTEC

as power mods.

What would I gain by upgrading my up-pipe? What other power mods should i look into?

I've seen advertised gains of 15hp...But an up-pipe is more about the spool.

Deffinetly a good mod.

Spools faster due to more airflow?

That makes sense.

Cool - thanks for the quick response!

An up pipe is great mod for a subaru. Especially since it takes the pre-cat out. Check out the reviews section and look at a few options. Helix has a good one and I love it and there are a few others that are good as well, but the big point is you'll get all the feed back from everyone as to why they switched.

Go to ebay and search on "wrx gutted up-pipe" and you'll find a guy who takes a stock up-pipe and professionally guts them, he then sells them for $80, plus when it is fitted he'll buy your original up-pipe back off you for $40.

The benefit of this is that if you ever have to go to state ref, it will be undetectable, you don't want to have to swap up-pipes too many times as it's a PITA.

Performance will be exactly the same as an aftermarket up-pipe and the fit is factory perfect.

installing an up-pipe you should notice more low end power off the bat. it was pretty obvious for me.

And once I have the up-pipe done, what should I look into next (with regard to power mods)? Turbo/pump/injectors? Bigger TMIC or FMIC?
