I've had my TurboXS Type H bov for over a year now. Soon as I put it on I noticed my cel went on, and the code I pulled is PO245 - wastegate solenoid A low. Recently, its been making wack noises like its leaking just as I start to build boost, or else sometimes it doesn't blow at all - eeeeek!

I've read other i-clubbers had the same problem, but no one said what they did to fix it. Most of my friends are telling me to just put the stock bov back on, but I just can't bring myself to do it I love the looks on peeps faces when they hear the turboxs.........one guy and his gf in a civic thought I punctured my tire in traffic one time and they rolled down the window and laughed until I roasted his *** and said......"its called a blow of valve rice boy "

Anyone run into this prob before? I keep trying to kill the cel with pocketlogger but it only comes back on 3 sec later. What can I do to fix my woes, and still have my great sound between shifts??

I did email turboxs and their response was to add washers and clean the bov. They said contrary to what people say online bov's are just wonderful and every starving child should get one for xmas but then again if the damn thing killed a kitten everytime it released, they ARE turboxs and want to push their products....

So this weekend I'll perform a little test. I'll add the washers and clean it, clear the cel and go for a test drive if it doesn't come back on. If the cel does come back on the stocker is going back on and I'll go for another test drive. I'll post the results.

I have gotton the same code.I was racing this guy on the freeway in traffic. I bounced off of the rev limiter in thrid gear. When it happened I heard a pop sound and the cel came on. I went to autozone and got the code cleared. I havn't got the code scince but I did take my bov apart and cleaned it and added washers.
