the best tuners I know say vf30 (and maybe 34?) + STi TMIC are a match made in heaven. Other TMICs suck in comparison and most FMICs aren't hardly worth the bang for the buck in comparison. This knowledge comes from their experience while dynotuning.

okay, i understand that i will have less lag with a TMIC and it's the best bang for the buck. the only thing im worried about is heat soak because im going to be on the track. would getting a cusco heat shield reduce the heatsoak? that might reduce the heat from the turbo, but since thee TMIC sits right on top of the engine, wouldn't the heat from the engine just go right into the TMIC?
