Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

Hello, again, Teddy. Any competent machine shop should be able to 'mike' (measure using a micrometer) the pistons for you and re-size your cylinder bores to the correct clearances. Each piston should be miked individually and each cylinder should be honed oversize, based on the piston that is going into that cylinder. Honing is preferable to a boring machine, as it removes small amounts of metal at a time and can leave the correct crosshatch pattern on the cylinder walls without a separate step.

You will of course need a new set of piston rings to go with the pistons.

Here's an engine displacement calculator. Just plug in the number of cylinders, bore, and the stroke.
