haha I melted mine! (well not me exactly, a friend of mine which will not be named because he's a cool guy and that would be ****ed up on calling him out)
The good thing about it all was that I gots me a nice set of HIDS for a sweet price.
It's only a few hundred. No biggie.

I've had many sets of headlights in the oven and never melted any of them. I did an E46 Bi-xenon projector retrofit in my V6 accord(I did a few for other people as well), I had to take my JDM STi lights apart because the previous owner had melted the marker lens(I cleaned it up, and rigged my own lens from some clear markers I found at kragen).
The key to it is low temp, and let it soak for a long time. I put my oven on 225 and leave them in there for about and hour and the butyl caulking is like butter.

I only modded my old set of wrx headlights and I pre-heated the oven up to 220 and then left them in for 15 minutes. Everything was fine.

Things in ovens...
I've melted / carbonized many things in ovens. Headlights, however, are yet to be one of those items. But this is not to say that I wouldn't attempt this. And if they happened to melt, I'd laugh my *** off and buy a set of STI HID lights to replace em.

can you edit the poll so we can see who voted for what?
i was laughing about mr. noodles's situation and my wife made the comment of "if you ever put car parts in my oven, you're gonna have more to worry about than them melting".
