Ok so I was driving 17 to San Jose yesterday and had the AC on when I noticed that I was only getting .5kg/cm2 of boost. It was exactly that amount every time I accelerated, the needle would just stop on .5 and not budge any further. I turned the AC off and it still would go no further than .5. It stayed that way until I got back from San Jose and turned the car off. I started the car maybe 20 minnutes later and I was getting the 1.01 levels I normaly get for a Cobb Stage 2. Any one have this happen to them? Was my car in limp mode? I saw no CELS at all and the car ran fine, except for only getting partial boost.

Since you have a cobb system did you by chance put it in economy mode?

 

no, I just flashed it to stage 2 91 octane. I have a turbo back exhaust and that is pretty much it. A couple of days before the car threw a CEL p0301 cylinder 1 missfire but nothing after that and now it is reaching target boost fine. wierd

 

Maybe it was just pulling back boost and timing becuase of the misfire.

At least its working now.
