oil filter?

I bought an oil filter for my 05 wrx from the dealer today. The one they gave me was white where as all the ones I had bought before from dealers were black. Did they change the color or did the parts wench give me the wrong one?

the part numbers changed from a 15208aa080 to a 15208aa09a. if the 09a filter is the one you have, be careful because suabaru has had problems with them leaking. after changing your oil, check to make sure your oil filter isn't leaking after a couple of minutes. it won't leak bad, but in my opinion, any leak is bad enough. if it doesn't leak, you're done. if it leaks, then they have another filter for you. part number 15208aa100. that filter is replacing the leaking ones.
