New Turbo-break-in needed??

Hello I-Club......

Picking up my car from the dealer later this afternoon. Had the turbo replaced (under warranty) due to a bad wastegate. I posted a couple of weeks ago about this.....thanks for the responses

Do I need to break-in this brand new turbo?? You know that torturous few hundred miles before you can get on it

Anyway, thanks for your responses

my ported TD04 came in a couple of days ago, and Deadbolt Inc. indicated that it needed a 250 mile break in period. given that it's a modified stock turbo, i'd guess that the requirements for a stock turbo would be similar. i'd give it a couple hundred miles before really getting on it hard.
