i was thinking of getting the defi d series boost gauge what do you guys thinkg about this gauge? and how hard is it to install it?

 

k i have the code pulled, it had a misfire from cylinder 1 - 4. wtf..? how can a car misfire all 4 cylinders? well the guy at auto zone told me this
-could be plugs, coils, etc..
- or it could be my fuel?
he says i might have to change my fuel filter and fuel pressure regulator? that not enough fuel can cause a misfire? is this true?

also i called up vishnu asking them what could of caused this and they said the would call me back, then i also asked how much is it to upgrade from stage sub-zero to stage zero. At first when they used to sponsor i-club they said around 600 before shiping. now the guy Shawn just told me it'll run me about 1200. for the Xede UP and pulleys. Thats a little outrageous considering that i'm already at stage sub zero (which was a reflash from them for 650) and now they want me to pay another 650 for another flash + the xede. what do you guys think? o ya and what can cause all 4 cylinders for misfire. thanks guys

 

vacume leak will cause all to mis fire and run crappy, but not pull after 3k that has to be a huge one

 

well i called into the dealership and seted up an appointment on wednesday my biggest question is will they reflash my ecu? cause i have a ECUtek and i dont want them to reflash it, and if i told them i haev a ECUtek they will probably blame it on the ECU and not cover it under my warranty. Do the dealer even have equipment to reflash the ECU's?

 

and that price is pretty crazy whats in it?

 

well the ECUtek from vishnu was 650 and i have a catback on it, they told me the catback should not of caused it so they will still warranty it. but i just wanted to double check if they will reflash my ECU, cause if they do i rather they not even touch the car.

 

if you can find some one local try switching ecus to see if it works

they cant tell if it has ecutek on it and no they dont have the equipment that i know of

 

well i can live with they saying no to fixing my car, but i'd be pretty upset if they flashed my ecu back to stock

 

haha yeah you would lose the licencing (sp?)
