timing belt: sounds the same.

timing belt: sounds the same as what I read at the top of the thread. how can I check for a broken timing belt? is this some thing I need to take all the way down. miles 105,000 2002 WRX. yes, I should have changed out the timing belt. 90,000 110,000 miles. thanks for your help

take your car to livermore subaru they might get you a a new motor for free and im all catless and with afew other mods. they didnt seem to care. they seemed to care more about hooking me up which surprised teh hell out of me.
