is my motor blown?

Earlier i started my car and it sounded like there was no oil. I could hear the pistons or something knocking like hell. I didnt drive very far but it had little power and just knocked louder and faster as the rpms rose.

All i have is a catted dp and a HKS up.

There is probably a cel but it was already on since I dont have a cel fix for the UP and DP.

Fiirst question, Did you have it tuned with those mods? What is your driving style? By the sounds of it you have Rod knock. You may have spun a bearing or shreaded it all together. Due to the chance that you shreaded the bearing, it can go all over the engine, scrape your cylinder walls, get sucked into your oil pump. I suggest getting in touch with GST asap about a short block swap. Repairing the crank, rod, and bearing, will probably cost more than replacing the whole thing.
Are you out of warranty? Get those parts off of there and bring it to subaru. Play dumb. Maybe you could get the warranty claim. I will tell you that you'll be fighting an uphill battle. Many have tried and end up going the Hybrid route.

Please don't put your car back to stock and try to get it covered under warranty. I realize ipozestu is trying to help your situation, but it's when people do that that makes it hard for genuine warranty issues to get resolved without a fight.

As the saying goes - you have to pay to play. Figure out what's wrong with your car and get it fixed.

Screw the dealer, return your car to stock and get the replacement under warranty...

subaru tore the block apart today...might be getting a new one under warranty. Something broke off the crankshaft and ruined at least one of the pistons...

tear down was around 2300~ ... they said something about the pistons, rod bearing, and crank shaft but that was before they took it apart. That was a couple days ago and I haven't heard from them yet, so I'm guessing its worse.

You are waiting for a response from SOA. The dealer has submitted their finding to the SOA warranty dept. They are about to tell you SOA will not cover the repairs/labor under warranty. Then the dealer is going to tell you "we need $2300 and another $2500 for a new short block and another $1500 to put it back together. Your still stuck with a 2.0L shortblock. I you decide to not have the dealership replace the motor, you still owe $2300 bucks and they will reinstall a broken motor into your car. I'd suggest (if they don't cover it) telling them to F*** Off, then have them pack all of your goodies up in the back of your car and call a flat bed, have them bring it to GST. Then have Mike install a new 2.5L shortblock. Have a nice day. For your sake I hope it doesn't go this way. For my sake I hope I get to say I told you so...
