More power
I am looking for suggestions on getting more power out of my wrx. I have a cold air K&N and that's all. I want 300 hp, how do get there?

300 whp is pretty high - there are only a couple of ways to do it, but first think about engine managment (ECUTEK seems to be the way to go).
Get a big turbo kit, Exhaust (UP/DOWN and turbo back) and some kind of engine control (ECUTEK, LINK, TEC III, SOMETHING). Get at least STi injectors and consider bigger. I think Fuel Rails and a fuel pressure regulator will make it more reliable. As far as turbos go get one like the AVO 450 HP - that should get you to 300 and maybe a little more...
An alternative or in addition would be to increase the displacement. 2.2 liter stroker kits, I am told, greatly increase driveability because they spool up the same turbos faster.
Other turbo options:
PE 1820, AVO 500 HP, Green turbo, Any large Garrett hybrid, APS SR-50
IMHO you want to go with the smallest possible turbo that will get you what you want to keep it more drivable.

Have you heard of anybody that has sent their computer into cobb? I spoke with those guys the other day, and they tell me that if I go with their stage two comp. upgrade and a turbo back exaust, I can get 280 hp at the flywheel. Any suggestions on exaust? I really don't like that huge tip look, something more low profile.
