leaking water??

leaking water??

Hi i have a 04 WRX and for awhile now it seems i have been leaking what just seems to water. it leaks from the opposite side of the engines liquids, basically teh passenger side. i am not sure what it is or is causing this too happen. do you guys have any ideas? this has not harmed performance of the car, but i am just a little concerned since its been going on for awhile now. thanks

im not positive, but im pretty sure its from your AC. it has a dump line for the condensed air i think. you know like the AC's on the portables at schools, they drip, same deal.

all it is is condensation from various parts of the engine, most common in the AC... theres no solid water in the engine, if there is waters its mixed with something in it , example, washer fluid!!... anyways, if what is dripping is just water, then there is nothing to worry about because its not comming from inside the engine, just on the outside of the engine itself....

I have the same problem as you, but I have heard that your car can use your AC without your knowledge, mainly when you use the front defroster, the car uses the AC to dry the air. Just my .02 cents
