Not funny if its your car. Do a search of his posts, he very rude and obnoxious to new people on the forums. We should want more people on the forums. More people = more experiences with different setups and parts. And yes we all get tired of "which uppipe should I get" and "will I have a 10 sec car if I buy a CAI" but someday these newbies may actually contribute to the knowledge base here.

I have the same problem with my REX. The dealer replaced the timing belt tensioner and it didnt help. They tried to blame it on my oil filter (wix) so Ive had them shange the oil ever since, still there. The noise is getting louder and now they are telling me it is normal!!! Ive been a autotech for round 17 years, sounds to me like a lifter is going south. They no refuse to do anything about it and tell me I have to wait untill it blows up to get it fixed. They admitted to hearing it and said it was a engine mechanical problem and kept it for a week. They said it was the tensioner, filter, oil and so on. They now deem it to be a normal noise??!! Let me know the out come if you fix it.
