K&N WRX air filter...are you sure you have the right size?

I've had the K&N panel filter in my 03 WRX Sedan for over a year. Maybe I'm just lucky in getting the airbox lid and the filter lined up just right, but it installed easily and without excessive force, and no cutting required. K&N part No. 33-2232 (that's right off the box.)

Ok, I just noticed that I looked up for my year car (2004) and everyone else posting part numbers are for 2002-2003 models. My bad. So there must be a difference in airboxes between the 2002-3 models and the 2004+ models.

2002-3 K&N part number: 33-2232
2004+ K&N part number: 33-2075

Just replaced mine for this reason, cost me $100 at the stealership, and I had to haggle them on the price. They wanted over $110 just for the lower half. Got them to knock 10% off since I told them I can order one online for about $75.
