Ok, a local shop is selling a JDM V8 STI short block for $1250. I was thinking of scooping it up but I wanted to ask first. Is this a pretty good deal or are there better ones out there? Also i cant remember if JDM V8 is 2.5 or 2.0. If it 2.0 should i save a little more money for a 2.5 block? if so where can i get them? thanks guys.

 

JDM is 2.0L. I think gruppe-s sells forester 2.5L blocks for cheap...its the same as the USDM STi 2.5L block.
