Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

First subaru, what should I do?

I just an 05 WRX wagon, 5 speed, white. Was wondering what do first cold air?, reflash?, exhust (but a turbo back will void my warrenty I think). Anyone have any suggestions or opinions, also what lowering springs do you suggest if any at all? Also what companies make good parts for the WRX and where should I get' em?

Try the [ Search \/ ] button. You'll find alot of useful info.
I think alot of people suggests doing the Up & down pipes. (going catless)
Also, many say that stock tires are crap. (think about getting better tires).

IMO you'd be better off with ECU (COBB or Ecuteck), suspension, exhuast, new turbo

In that order.

let me give you the same advice I got when I first got my WRX. Learn to drive it. Know what you already have before you start to mod your car so can talor the mods for what you think the car needs. Some people want a stiffer suspension, while others want power. You won't know until you have driven your car stock for a while and know her inside and out.

learn to make full use of what you got at the moment.

but some decent power might be a turboback and reflash.

rsb and endlinks are also nice.
steering rack bushings are fun to install.
better tires?

and yes search is a wonderful function

Break in your engine properly (refer to manual) and get AP or equivalent (EM).
I have Stage1 AP and 100% satisfied, no more hesitation and smoothe power delivery!

Go with tires first. The best modification for this car is to make it stick first. Can't use all that power if all it does is slip and slide. Then go with the suspension and learn to drive the car. After those, it's on!
