intercooler fans
intercooler fans
I, at the time could not afford a FMIC so decided to try something out. I had three old CPU fans laying around and made a bracket out of some metal from a local hardware store.(anything thin and light will work) I also had an old wire kit for a car stereo and used the inline fuse for a controled power supply. I added a 15 amp fuse so that i would not burn out the fan motors. and wired to a toggle inside the car. Bottom line not sure if i saw any real power gains, but the intercooler was deffinately cooler to the touch. I know its not that detailed but, if i can figure it out on my own, you can to.
Have fun guys,

concensus is that it would probably block airflow during high speeds... and a water sprayer would be more useful.
